Monthly Archives: December 2015

Happy Christmas-season Hockey fans!

Finally, the best month of the year is upon us.

We write to remind you of our schedule for the holidays.  Regular classes will be held on December 6 and 13.

On Sunday, December 20th, our SK1 students can play some friendly shinny from 1:00pm to 1:00pm.  And a source who didn’t wish to be named has advised us that there may be a special visitor arriving at 2:00pm.  From 2:00pm to 3:30pm, our SK2 and SK2/Hockey students can play some friendly non-contact shinny.  All SK1 and SK2 students should bring a hockey stick.  If you don’t have one, come and ask us in Dressing Room 7 and we will find one for you.

There will be no classes on Sunday, December 27th, 2015 and Sunday, January 3, 2016.  Regular classes resume on January 10.

It’s been a busy and fun season so far, and we are delighted with everyone’s success.  Hopefully Santa will bring everyone lots of pucks and skates and sticks and goals and a strong plus/minus stat on the 25th.

Happy and safe holidays from Mike, Tom, Paul, Joan, Wayne, Oliver, Eddie, Hilary, Aodhan, Alison, Seamus, Eamonn, Marcus, Liam, Jacob, Owen, Ellen and the other volunteers who make the best skating and hockey school in the city possible.
