Happy Thanksgiving from our Hockey Family to Yours!

Like our Leafs, the season is off to an amazing start we are very proud of the progress our skaters have made to date.  We hope you are too.  Our first weeks are the most challenging with respect to our newest skaters, and getting everyone sorted in to the best groups for them.  All good so far.

We appreciate your support in having your participants properly dressed and ready on time.  A list of required equipment can be found on the REGISTRATION PAGE of our site above.

A reminder that no figure skates are permitted, and properly fitted helmets and neck guards are required.

Also, if you observe falling hockey socks or pants, you might consider shin pad tape and suspenders.

Further, please remember skates are not ski boots: try not to wrap your child’s excess skate laces around the back of their ankle as it restricts movement and decreases range, and accelerates the breakdown of their skateboots.

We will continue to assess our more advanced skaters in SK1 in order to graduate them into SK2 to better balance our ice.  We still remain full in SK1, but will hopefully be able to create further space for January.  If you know of friends and family who are hoping to register in SK1, please let them know.

We remind you that THERE ARE NO CLASSES NEXT WEEK ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2017.  We are back at the regular times on Sunday, October 15, 2017.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving with your loved ones.
