New Season Information FOR OUR REGISTERED SKATERS

Welcome Back Hockey Fans!

The most wonderful time of the year is almost upon us – back to school and back on the ice.  We are very excited to kick off our Ted Reeve Arena Skating-Hockey School’s 56th season!

If you registered with us for the 2025-2026 season and did not receive a confirmation email sent August 19th, 2025, please send us an email with your information.

Our sessions are full and we are not taking additional registrations at this time.

For our skaters already registered, SK1, SK2, and SK2/Hockey programs start on Sunday, September 14th, 2025 at the Ted Reeve Community Arena, 175 Main Street, Toronto.

SKATING SCHOOL 1  1:05pm – 1:50pm

SKATING SCHOOL 2  1:50pm – 2:35pm

SKATING 2 & HOCKEY SCHOOL  1:50pm – 3:50pm

Dates for the September 2025 – March 2026 season are as follows (subject to rink confirmation):

Classes start Sunday, September 14th, 2025 and finish Sunday, March 29, 2026. There will be no classes on October 12, 2025 (Thanksgiving), December 28, 2025, January 4, 2026 (Christmas break) and February 15, 2026 (Family Day).

THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS:

Hockey skates, C.S.A. certified helmet and full face protection, neck guard, hockey gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, shin pads, athletic support and cup, hockey socks with clear shin pad tape, and jersey.  See our website for a full picture of required equipment.

Students must supply their own equipment and will not be permitted to participate without all of the above properly fitted equipment – no exceptions.  Figure skates are not permitted and please avoid plastic-boot skates.  Hockey sticks are required for the hockey skills program only.

If you are new to the sport, feel free to drop by the instructor’s dressing room #7 to ask any of us for help dressing your skater on the 14th.  Student dressing room #s will be posted downstairs in the dressing room area on the TV screen when you enter and we will be there to check off your skater’s name and issue a 2025/26 registration sticker for their helmet.

All Instructors and Directors of our school are volunteers.  If you or an older child you know (age 15+, with experience) are interested in volunteering with us, please reply to this email or come see us in dressing room 7 to fill out a volunteer application form.   We can always use extra help with our younger Skate 1 skaters.

If you have not yet liked our Facebook page, please do so here.

Looking forward to another great season!
