Happy Christmas Season to our T.R.A.S.H.S. families!
Three news items for you:
Christmas Schedule – On Sunday, December 18, 2022, we will be playing friendly shinny with our groups. Please bring a hockey stick for your skaters; if you don’t have one, come see us at the end of the hallway in dressing room #7 and we will find one for you.
And … we just got word that we may have a special visitor, so make sure you stay on the ‘nice’ list at least till then!
There will be no classes on Sunday December 25, 2022 and January 1, 2023. Regular programs will resume Sunday January 8, 2023.
Mid-Year SK1 Registrations – We have evaluated our current capacity and are now able to take up to 10 new skaters in Skate 1 (Sundays at 1:05pm to 1:50pm). If you or someone you know is interested, please reply by email before noon on January 4, 2023 to info@tedreeveskatinghockeyschool.org with the name and birth date of the participant. Participants must be at least 5 years old. There are 12 weeks remaining in the season so we will prorate the registration fee to $60.
Spaces will be awarded by random balloting and we will advise applicants whether they can register their son/daughter. Once registered, they will be eligible to join us on Sunday, January 8, 2023 if they have all their equipment. Our apologies in advance for any interested families that we cannot accommodate at this time.
Mandatory equipment includes hockey skates (no figure skates), C.S.A. approved helmet and full face guard, neck guard, hockey gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, shin pads, athletic support and cup, hockey socks and sweater. Students will not be permitted to participate without all of the above properly fitted equipment. Avoid plastic-boot skates.
2023-2024 Season Registrations – Pre-registration for our Sept/2023 to Mar/2024 season will be on Sunday, March 5, 2023, starting at noon in the front lobby area of Ted Reeve Community Arena (not in the snack bar). Registration is in-person only, and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served, basis. See our website for more details and to download a Registration Form.
