To Our Ted Reeve Arena Skating-Hockey School Families,
- We are delighted with the progress made in our first five weeks and hope that you are too! Congratulations to everyone on a great start.
- There will be no classes this Sunday, October 13, 2024 as we take a break for the Thanksgiving weekend. Classes will resume as usual on October 20, 2024.
- After the Thanksgiving break, we can add 10 additional placements in our program. If you know any skaters interested in joining for the remaining 2024-2025 season, please have them email us at info@tedreeveskatinghockeyschool.org their skater’s name, age, skill level by 5pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024. For SK1, skaters must be age 5 by December 31, 2024 (born 2019 or earlier) and full equipment is required for all programs. As we expect to be oversubscribed, placements will be assigned through a lottery system, and we will notify all participants of results and next steps on Friday, October 18, 2024.
We remind you that the Ted Reeve Arena Skating-Hockey School is entirely volunteer run. Without the generosity of time and spirit of all our senior and junior on-ice volunteers, our School will shut down. If you have competent skating skills, hockey helmet/gloves/skates, and a positive, patient, and helpful manner, please let us know if you are interested in being a volunteer and we will contact you to discuss. Our need for the highest instructor-student ratio is in SK1 where our newer skaters sometimes need more one-on-one instruction.
On behalf of the Ted Reeve Arena Skating-Hockey School volunteers, we wish you and your families a safe and happy Thanksgiving weekend. We have much to be thankful for!
