Does my child need full hockey equipment?
Yes. Participants must wear Hockey skates, helmet with valid CSA sticker, full-face cage/visor and BNQ-certified neck guard, hockey gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, shin pads, athletic support and cup, hockey socks secured with clear shin pad tape, and a jersey.
Students will not be permitted to participate without all required equipment properly fitted. Students must supply their own equipment. See more information here.
What if my child is only in Skate 1, do they still need full equipment?
Yes. Full hockey equipment is required for all programs, including Skate 1.
We are a hockey skating school, and it is important for children to learn to skate comfortably in full equipment from the beginning. Falls and collisions are part of learning; full equipment is required for the safety of all participants.
Can I register my 3-year-old?
No. Students must be at least 5 years old as of December 31, 2026.
Are figure skates accepted?
No. Hockey skates are required for all programs.
When is the first or last class of the year? Are there any Sundays off?
